We are so happy to announce that from 20 September 2019 we will plant a tree for every order over £15.

From September to December 2019 we planted trees in the Amazon. From January 2020 to March we will plant trees in Australia.

One Tree Planted are a non profit environmental charity, dedicated to making it easier for individuals and businesses to give back to the environment, fight climate change, protect biodiversity and help reforestation efforts around the world. All by planting trees!

Started in 2014, they have more than doubled the number of trees planted year over year. Fast-forward to today, they now work with awesome reforestation partners in North America, South America, Asia, and Africa who help them get trees in the ground to restore forests after fires and floods, create jobs, build communities, and protect habitat for biodiversity. In 2018, they were able to get more trees in the ground than ever before – 1.3 million!

At Vera-Bee we are fully behind One Tree Planted, and as we grow as a business our aim is to plant a tree for every order.  We receive a certificate for the trees planted from you orders. We will keep this updated on this page

This year 2019 we will support the Amazon rainforest. More than 60% of Peru is covered by the Amazon rainforest. This reforestation project is located in the Madre de Dios region, home to over 10 percent of the world’s bird species.

The goal is to restore and protect the “buffer zone” between Tambopata National Reserve, Bahuaja-Sonene National Park, and the city of Puerto Maldonado. This area has been identified as a high risk zone for deforestation and degradation due to unsustainable agricultural practices in the region. Planting trees here will help conserve habitat for the Jaguar and hundreds of other species living in the protected areas, while providing sustainable livelihoods to local people.
